About NCP Church

About 13 years ago, God stirred the hearts of several Delaware beach-goers to desire a church community valuing the Word of God. By divine providence, things have been working together to touch hundreds of lives and to secure a more permanent location.

God's working in and through us continues. The same passion that bound us together while meeting in the basement of the Cassapula Sub Shop (which we affectionately called the Cassapula Chapel), continues to motivate us (2 Cor. 5:14-- it is the Love of God!).

Taste and see that the Lord is good! As we grow, we anticipate that God will be drawing people like you to come and see, to come and hear, and maybe to come and be a part of us. Our simple mission is the communicate the gospel by word and by deed (expressed in Romans 1:16 )

The gospel message is good news to all....for in it we find that sinners like us can have a right relationship with God. We can be freed not only from the condemnation that we deserve but also from the power that things have over us.....HOW you might be wondering! God does it in us---giving us faith to see what He sees (the helicopter view), covering our shortcomings through the atonement on the cross more than 2000 years ago, and enabling us today to love what is good through the working of His spirit in our hearts.

Our desire is to be a healthy church; a place where all 4 generations gather to MEET WITH GOD in worship, a place where you can be equipped to do the things that God has prepared for us to be doing (our purpose in life)! A healthy church community values these three realities: A head that is learning the truth in scripture, a heart that is personally intimate with the triune God and hands that are actively engaged in real service.

In order to do things decently and orderly, NCPC utilizes a four part "REACH" Team Structure:

UpREACH -- Cultivating personal relationships with God
OutREACH-- Enabling people to introduce God to others within proximity and
InREACH -- Developing genuine community through fellowship and education
OverREACH-- Pursuing excellence through coordination, communication and leadership
