Small town. Entrepreneurial Opportunities. A great start to your future.

Our Promise:

As a Coastal Fellow, you’ll have the opportunity to work with entrepreneurs who own and operate small businesses. You will experience the victories and defeats that are a part of every small business (and the dream behind that business). A Fellow will likely have an opportunity to experience every aspect of the company for which they intern, and a Fellow will gain valuable business skills that aren’t found in a large company or a classroom. A Coastal Fellows internship will put you in a rewarding and meaningful position to succeed in the future.

Our Church Family:

New Covenant Presbyterian Church is one of the smallest congregations to host a Fellows program.  Founded in the late 1990s, the church has been a consistent champion of God’s word in a very theologically diverse community.  Fellows at New Covenant will have the opportunity to impact a small community with their service in tangible ways.  New Covenant has numerous members who have had successful business careers and decades of Christian living experience.

Lewes, Delaware is in the heart of the “Cape” region.  Founded in 1621, Lewes fronts on the Delaware Bay, and is a beautiful coastal town.  To the south of Lewes is Rehoboth Beach, which is the northern end of the Delaware beaches.  Rehoboth, Dewey, Bethany, and Fenwick Island are consistently rated as some of the best coastal beach towns in the United States.

Further inland, Sussex County, Delaware is dotted with large farms and small towns.  There is a deeply rooted tradition of local, small town values and hard-working small business owners.  The pace in this area is different than urban or suburban locations, and that’s one of the best features of this rapidly growing area.

Sussex County, Delaware is one of the fastest growing areas in the mid-Atlantic region, and the combination of a low cost of living and a coastal lifestyle make it a prime choice for a place to “put down roots”.

Our Lifestyle:

Welcome to the beach, and welcome to the country. As a Coastal Fellow, you’ll have the opportunity to experience everything that the Coastal Sussex area has to offer.  Coastal Sussex is a unique combination of urbane coastal living (complete with the Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival) and unique country fun (The Apple Scrapple Festival).  Here, you can experience outstanding outdoor living and also great cultural attractions. The Coastal Delaware region offers a lifestyle that is unlike anywhere else in the world.

Coastal Fellows still has limited openings for the Fall 2015 class!
