wow ministryBecause we value children at NCPC, they receive their own teaching time from Pastor Robert before the sermon begins. Standing on the steps and playing a game of "what's in the bag," is a highlight for elementary aged students and a joy for all of us as we hear their interesting answers. After Pastor Robert's children's lesson, they are dismissed for a time of teaching in song and Bible memory while the adults remain in the sanctuary for the sermon. The goal of the ministry is not babysitting -- it is to train the next generation to understand worship so that when they mature and get all their "wiggles" out,  they will be ready to remain in the service and feed on God's word.

Typically children ages 5-10 take part in the W.O.W. ministry.  If you are new to NCPC, don't be shy! Come on up at teaching time and stand on the brightly colored footprints next to all the other kids. They'll be glad you came! And for younger children, we also have a recently enlarged fully staffed nursery for younger children. All of our caregivers have passed a background check. For mothers with nursing babies, we also have a cry room near the rear of the sanctuary.

Let the little chilren come to NCPC!
